Founder and Principal Attorney

Sagar Sharma is the Founder and Principal Attorney of Sagsharma.

Described by clients and colleagues as a “Swiss Army knife” when it comes to his legal capabilities, Sharma has developed his practice in the corporate, business, and startup sector, advising small businesses and multi-million dollar, venture-backed startups, alike, on various legal matters, ranging from negotiating major commercial contracts to business acquisition and beyond.

Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Sagar Sharma attended the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida where he graduated with a double major in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science with a double minor in Biology and Business Law. He then attended the University of North Carolina School of Law in Chapel Hill where he received his Juris Doctor.

Sharma now resides in Manhattan, New York.

When he is not practicing law, Sharma is an avid traveler and food enthusiast. He is also a marathon runner and can often be found running along Manhattan’s West Side Highway.

    Formerly at White & Case and McDermott Will & Schulte (pre-merger), Mr. Benedict brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Sagsharma from over twelve years working on some of the most complex transactions in this world, including for clients like Cerberus, Fortress, Apollo, and Chubb (formerly ACE, Ltd), valued at over $75-Billion USD, in the aggregate.

    Tabber Benedict is based in New York City, focusing on US domestic and international corporate transactions with clients from around the world for Sagsharma. He brings a business mindset, including a focus on integrating cutting-edge technologies, to the practice of law at Sagsharma.

Adela serves as an Executive Assistant with Sagsharma where she ensures operational efficiency and manages prospective and current client relations.
